Facebook is nortoriously known for helping to connect people. (Thats what it was designed for). It has helps my relatives find me. I have found cousins (Well they found me) , adopted brothers and so many more have been connected to me on Facebook and have now met.
Facebook is a great site, (Although) the admin work is a little shabby at times.
